Early Access Patch 1.1.3

Hello again, everyone! Today's patch is a smaller one that comes with some much needed fixes and changes.

The main focus of this patch was a rework of the tutorial level. This has been an ongoing change, and it was nearly ready in time for Patch 1.1.2, but I decided to push it off a bit so I could focus on finishing the supplies overhaul.

In many ways, the new tutorial level is the same as it always has been. Most of the playable content remains the same, save for a few small tweaks to the Fallen Dog section that should hopefully make it clear to new players what to expect from the Fetch game mode. Beyond this, pop-ups in the tutorial level look much better than before. For pop-ups in moments of high tension, such as when encountering the Entities, or for pop-ups in high volume areas like in the Home Base, the game will pause for a moment to allow the player to read before continuing. After playing through the tutorial a few times, I think that everything flows a lot smoother than before with fewer opportunities to accidentally miss important text.

These changes will really only affect new players, but this was an important step in making the game more accessible. I also reworked how the tutorial works on the backend, so as I add more features in the future, I will be able to easily create new tutorial levels alongside the original one, each focusing on a new mechanic or game mode. Give the tutorial a go if you haven't yet! You might just learn something new.

Otherwise, Patch 1.1.3 includes a few more changes, including updated collar models for the game's newest breeds and some important bug fixes. As always, the full patch notes can be found below.

Thank you to everyone for your support and feedback. I'll see you all soon for Early Access Patch 1.1.4—the Entities are going to have a fun time with that one!

The main fix included in this patch is a fix for the Fallen Dog evidence spawning system. Before, there was a rare chance that evidence wouldn't spawn correctly. To put it simply, I discovered that this was happening in very rare instances where there was technically space for an object to spawn, but there was part of a stat…In-game event13 Aug 2026Early Access Patch 1.1.2Hello again, everyone!
