Hello again, everyone! Early Access Patch 1.1.2 is finally here!
This patch includes an overhaul to the interaction system and Fetch mode's supplies system.
In the original Fetch mode, there were only five supply items to find, with each contributing one point to the quota. Now, you will be able to find over 50 unique items, with more coming in the future! When an item spawns, it will be given a random quota value from within a range. For common items like canned food, lower quota values will appear more often than higher ones. You might find a can of corn worth one quota point, or a bottle of medicine worth four. Each new category of supplies—food, medicine, resources, and recreation—have several items ranging in spawning frequency from common to rare, so keep an eye out for more valuable supplies on your Expedition!
Additionally, you will now find buried supplies scattered around the map. These rare spawns have the same loot pool as the main supply spawn locations, but frequency values are flipped. If you manage to find a spot to dig, there's more than likely something worthwhile there.
Many of you will be happy to hear that the interaction system has also been greatly improved! Before, interaction prompts would occasionally disappear, or never appear in the first place. The new system is much more consistent and includes more details than before, including the new quota value for supplies! Some examples can be seen in the above screenshots.
The full list of patch notes can be found below. As always, thank you for your patience and keep an eye out for the next update!
Oh, and to celebrate three months of The Good Dog, the game will be on sale until Tuesday morning!
