What we store
- When you sign in through Steam, the SteamID64, public display name and avatar URL that Steam OpenID returns; never a password.
- Your watchlist, alert rules, alert deliveries and channel settings.
- Public profile snapshots for the calculator: the games list with hours, the public wishlist and the profile name, refreshed at most every fifteen minutes and kept for thirty days after the last look-up.
Searches
When a search leads you to a game, the words you typed are counted so the empty search box can offer what people are looking for. Only the text is kept, lower-cased and with the hour it happened in, and only when it matched a game. Nothing identifies who searched — not an account, not a cookie, not an address — so the table cannot be turned back into one person’s history by anyone, including us. Searches that go nowhere are never recorded.
Calculator
The calculator reads only what Steam publishes publicly for a profile. If game details are private, nothing beyond the profile name and avatar is read. Anyone can look up a public profile, just as on Steam itself.
Deleting your data
Signing out keeps your rules for next time; deleting the account from the account page removes the user row and everything attached to it within a day.
