Hey everyone!
I've been working on this update for quite a while now, and it's finally getting very close. There are still things I'm polishing, testing, and fixing, but most of the big pieces are coming together. I think this will be the last devlog before the big update!
This will be the biggest content update so far, so I wanted to give you one more look at what is waiting for you.
The new map is almost ready, and there will be more than 10 new locations to discover.
You'll be able to explore new buildings, abandoned places, dangerous areas, and other locations connected to the story. There will be loot to find, notes and story details to discover, NPCs to meet, quests to complete, and plenty of little secrets hidden around the map.
The main goal of Episode 2 will be exploring this new territory and learning more about what happened.
You'll discover new details about the story, meet new characters, and gradually uncover more of the world and its secrets.
One of your main objectives will be to assemble a special protective suit that will allow you to prepare for the journey to the final Citadel.
The new area will also introduce several new NPCs.
They aren't just there to fill the world — you'll be able to talk to them, learn more about the story, receive quests, and in some cases trade with them.
One of the important parts of the new map will be the huge crater.
You'll need to explore it and collect a new resource called Crystal Ore.
Crystal Ore isn't directly usable for everything, though. You'll need to process it and extract crystals from the ore, which will then become an important part of the new crafting progression.
These crystals will be needed to create new equipment and, most importantly, to work toward assembling the protective suit required for the journey to the Citadel.
I also want to be honest about something.
The recent reviews have been a bit difficult to see, especially when the rating is mixed. Of course, I understand that the game still has bugs and problems, and I'm not trying to pretend that everything is perfect. It's an indie game, and I'm currently working on it alone.
I'm doing my best to fix the bugs, improve the systems, balance the gameplay.
I don't want to abandon the game or leave it in an unfinished state. I'm just currently one person making this game, so development can be slow sometimes, but I'm going to keep pushing forward.
Thank you again to everyone who has been playing, reporting bugs, leaving feedback, writing reviews, and following the development.
