Hello Survivors!
A new update is now available! This update introduces a new crafting system for clothing and backpacks, along with balance changes to resources and many fixes across the world.
-Added a new crafting station: Sewing Station
-Craft and equip different clothes and backpacks
-Added craftable clothes and backpacks in different styles: Regular, Reinforced, Work, Light.
-These can provide various bonuses such as: Increased backpack capacity, improved damage, better stamina, faster walking and swimming speed and more
-Added new crafting tools: Measuring Tape, Sewing Kit, Fabric Scissors, Needles, Rivet Tool
-Added new materials: Thread, Fabric
-Rebalanced food and resource spawns
-Some new items can now be found in containers
-Added dynamic food, drink, and ammo spawning
-Spawn rates are higher at the beginning of a game
-Rates gradually decrease after 5, 10, and 20 in-game days
This should make the early game easier while making long-term survival more challenging, encouraging farming, hunting, fishing, and crafting.
-Fixed many collision issues, floating props, and loot containers in: Military Base, Crashed Plane, Junkyard, Gas Station, Bunker, Arctic Military Base, Sawmill, Auto Repair Shop
-Improved Auto Repair Shop gate entrance
-Increased Canyon Bridge loading distance
-Railway Tunnel: Removed floating doors, Fixed collision issues
-Arctic Vehicle Workshop: Improved hangar floor collisions, Fixed motor pickup items
-Fixed multiple holes in the ground near the Cargo Ship at the Port
-Fixed LOD issues in all Arctic locations
-Small improvements to French localization
-Fixed saving/loading for some new stations
-Fixed loading issues with Supporter Pack items
-Fixed weight values for some items
While working on Update #12, we've also been busy expanding the world with several new locations currently in development.
Today I am also sharing a few work-in-progress screenshots to give you a small preview of what's coming in future updates. These areas are still being built, so expect changes, improvements, and additional details before release. Finishing it asap, will be available this summer.
