After introducing LEITNER—another cable car manufacturer for the WRS3—in our last DevLog, we’re sticking with cable cars this time as well. Today, however, we’re taking a look at what’s crucial behind the scenes for operating a ropeway: The control system.
For WRS3, we’ve redesigned the control panels and the HMI for the Doppelmayr Connect control system. This allows you to operate key functions of the cable car and keep an eye on the system’s current operating status.
The HMI isn't just for operating and monitoring the system. In the event of operating errors or problems, you'll receive immediate guidance, tips, and error messages to help you identify the cause and get the cable car back up and running properly.
You can also try out the WRS3 for yourself at Gamescom over the next few days. We'll also be revealing some new features & details about WRS3 in interviews at Gamescom. Next week, we’ll summarize some of these hot facts for you!
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Feel free to leave us comments, share your thoughts on the official Discord channel or let us know what you'd like to see in the next logs.
Until next time at DevLog #14!
