Patch #4 is now live! This update brings a major Slave Market overhaul, further combat improvements, better events and tutorials, and a large number of fixes and polish across the demo.
Completely reworked slave generation. Slaves can now have notably higher or lower starting Health, creating much more variation between potential recruits.
Starting from Day 20, the Slave Market can now offer trained gladiators, giving you access to more developed recruits later in the demo.
The Slave Market now starts with three recruits at 85, 100, and 115 Health, priced at 35, 50, and 65 coins respectively.
Added a purchase confirmation screen when buying a slave.
Added clearer feedback when you cannot afford a slave.
Added a new Market Refresh interaction, allowing you to spend coins to immediately generate a new selection of slaves.
Added animations and visual feedback when refreshing the market.
Added a tooltip showing when the next slave will arrive.
Kepri's Dominus ability now reduces slave prices by 15%.
Rebalanced slave prices and fixed several issues with slave generation, equipment, and market interactions.
Improved combat target selection to reduce unnecessary and erratic target switching.
Improved gladiator movement and combat behavior in the arena.
Spears and Tridents now have a minimum attack range, making positioning more important.
Reworked Shield Slam.
Further adjusted Defense, Evasion, Riposte, Critical Strike, and several weapon skills.
Fixed arena matches occasionally loading with no opponents or the wrong match.
Fixed several arena overlap and visual issues.
Improved the Game Event queue to prevent events from becoming stuck or leaving the game paused.
Fixed issues when inspecting gladiators from Game Events.
Improved event text and tooltips throughout the demo.
Improved several tutorials and their progression.
Fixed tutorials that could become blocked when no gladiator was available.
Fixed tutorial steps that could not be advanced correctly with Space.
Improved localized text and input-field font handling.
