Renewed fifteen cities with distinct coastlines, refreshed terrain and vegetation, and new Shipyard, City Wall and Gate designs.
Bremen's renewed city design is now part of the permanent city lineup.
Standardized building dimensions across all eighteen cities while preserving regional architecture and materials.
All eighteen cities now start with 16 Houses and 8 workplace plots, following Stockholm's settlement density and the distance between its City Walls and shoreline. Further construction and city growth remain available.
Added a dedicated Market building to Cologne.
Terrain and Lighting
Improved grass and meadow textures across all eighteen cities, with natural soil variation and more consistent ground detail.
Balanced coastal lighting with softer sunlight, reduced haze and restrained highlights, preserving detail on bright walls and roofs.
Improved the stone ground beneath newly constructed buildings, with a solid center that gradually blends into the surrounding grass.
Roads and Building Access
Updated streets and all three Gate approaches to follow the renewed city layouts.
Made paving consistent within each city across main streets, Gate approaches and building connections. Reduced oversized paving stones in Oslo.
Improved connections between buildings and the current street network. Gate approaches follow dry ground, and saved routes preserve their street corners.
Kept building entrances clear of foundations and enabled pedestrians to use valid short connections between nearby streets.
Harbor and Building Fixes
Moved Rostock's nine ship berths in front of the working harbor and adjusted departure directions to keep ship routes clear of the shoreline, Shipyard, cranes and map boundary.
Fixed water in Brewery and Hemp Farm troughs appearing as moving blue rectangles outside the buildings.
Fixed newly constructed Workplaces shifting away from the center of their plots when rotated.
Improved building-name visibility, including white labels above Riga and Stockholm's civic buildings and Shipyards that remain readable as the camera turns.
New Game and Existing Saves
New Game now displays the actual number of available cities instead of a fixed count of 20. Removed inactive arrows that suggested the city count could be adjusted.
Existing saves retain ownership of properties that remain in the renewed layouts. Removed Houses in Visby and removed workplace plots in Visby, Rostock and Stettin are retired together with their associated ownership or production entries.
Improved terrain preservation when buildings are saved, rebuilt or demolished.
