Not Quite Dead: Open World Survival · published

Hey Survivors!
I want to give everyone an early look at what’s coming next for Not Quite Dead, along with an important update regarding the Early Access price.
The next major step for the game is:
The Wasteland will significantly expand the world and introduce a completely new desert region.
You can actually already see the beginning of this new area if you travel to the south of the current map.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll continue expanding this entire section and adding much more content to it.
The update is planned to include:
🌵 A large new desert / Wasteland region
🏙️ A new large city to explore
🤝 A new friendly faction
🧍 New friendly NPCs
🔫 New weapons
🗡️ Spears
🏍️ Motorcycles
🚛 The new 8-wheel Road Train truck
🛻 Trailer / platform system
🏠 Build directly on the Road Train trailer
🔨 Create your own mobile base
🗺️ More locations and areas to explore
🧟 More encounters and gameplay opportunities
🛠️ More fixes, balancing, optimization and quality-of-life improvements
And there will be more that I’ll reveal as development continues.
One of the systems I’m especially excited about is the new Road Train.
The new 8-wheel truck can tow a large platform trailer, and the goal is to allow you to build directly on that platform.
That means you’ll eventually be able to create your own small mobile survival base, attach the trailer to your truck and take it with you across the world.
The trailer system is already being developed and tested now.
This update will also mark the beginning of the next major expansion of the map.
Instead of only adding small locations, I want to continue making the world larger, giving you more reasons to explore and adding more variety between different regions.
The desert will have its own atmosphere, locations, NPCs and dangers compared to the existing parts of the map.
As Not Quite Dead continues to grow with larger updates and more content, the Early Access price will also gradually increase.
Starting:
the base price of Not Quite Dead will increase to:
If you already own the game, of course nothing changes for you.
You keep the game permanently and receive the future updates as development continues.
For anyone waiting for another opportunity to join:
Starting October 19th, Not Quite Dead is planned to be:
So there will still be an opportunity to grab the game at a discounted price after the new pricing takes effect.
I’ve been reading your reviews, Discord messages, bug reports and suggestions every day.
A lot of the changes being made right now are directly based on what you’ve been telling me.
I’m going to keep improving the current game while also building toward bigger updates like The Wasteland.
Thank you for supporting Not Quite Dead during Early Access and for helping me shape what the game becomes.
There’s a lot more coming. 🌵🧟🚛
