Not Quite Dead: Open World Survival · published

Hey Survivors!
The new Not Quite Dead update is now LIVE! 🛠️🧟
Before getting into the changes, I really want to thank a couple of people from the community.
I want to give a special thank you to a YouTuber that I honestly don’t personally know, but who has already made 12 videos about Not Quite Dead.
Seeing someone spend that much time playing, recording, sharing feedback, and creating content around the game genuinely means a lot to me. ❤️
Thank you so much for supporting the game!
🎬 Check out the latest video here:
I also want to give a special thank you to Marcus — @holasoyelmarcus from our Discord community.
Marcus helped me identify and correct several parts of the Spanish localization, which helps make the game better for Spanish-speaking players.
Thank you for taking the time to help! ❤️
The Sort button has been reworked.
When you press it, the inventory will now:
Sort items by type
Combine compatible stacks up to their maximum stack size
Perform the organization only once
Afterward, you are completely free to move your items wherever you want.
The inventory will not automatically keep sorting itself.
Want everything organized again?
Just press Sort again!
You can now change the Hotbar keys:
1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7
Each Hotbar slot can now be rebound individually through the Input Settings.
The displayed Hotbar key indicators will also follow your selected bindings.
The Ping and BigMap marker systems have been improved.
Your marker can now remain active indefinitely
H and the BigMap use the same marker system
Placing another ping moves your existing marker
Better support for exploration and co-op navigation
No more short automatic timeout
Fixed the Carrot Seeds item name
The following items now give Plastic Scrap when disassembled:
Radio
Camera
Broken Walkie-Talkie
Broken Cellphone
I also want to apologize for posting this update a little later than I originally planned.
September 1st was my birthday, and today we went to have dinner at my girlfriend’s father’s place, so I wasn’t able to get back and publish the update as early as I wanted.
But I’m back at it now! 😄
I’m still going through your Steam reviews, Discord messages, bug reports, suggestions, videos, and localization feedback.
I’ll keep fixing things and improving Not Quite Dead step by step.
If something doesn’t feel good enough, tell me. It really helps me decide what needs attention next.
Thank you again for all the support, patience, videos, reviews, bug reports, and help improving the game. ❤️
Back to work! 🛠️🧟 I keep reading your feedback so if anything new tell me. I will make a website or a steam discution for this soon.
