Major Performance improvements across Upgradia
This update brings a major performance boost across Upgradia!
From exploring Farm and Village to mining, battling monsters and browsing your inventory, enjoy smoother animations, faster menus and more responsive gameplay all round! These changes aim to resolve the majority of the performance problems players have been experiencing.
There’s more to discover too! 52 emotes, 25 new hairstyles, collectable Hair Dyes and a new option to minimise while resting in camp!
Bring your character to life with 52 emotes, including eight dances, playful gestures, facial expressions and overhead reactions. Celebrate a victory, throw a party, share a laugh or send someone a kiss.
Find your favourites: Browse your collection with animated character previews. Unlocked emotes appear first, making them easy to find and use.
Make them your own: Assign up to eight favourites to your quick bar. Keep it handy in scenes or collapse it when you need more space.
Discover rare emotes: Hunt monsters, defeat bosses and open dungeon chests for rare emote recipe scrolls. Learn them directly or trade unused scrolls with other players.
Start expressing yourself straight away: Every character gets a starter selection, including Party Dance, Wave Hello, Sit and all facial expressions.
Collect them all: Visit Journal → Recipes → Emotes to see what you’ve unlocked and discover where the remaining recipes drop.
Say more in chat: Use the reaction picker to add icons alongside your messages, with overhead reactions for sharing the moment in scenes.
Share the fun: Other players can see your emotes across camp, village, town gates, farms, caves and tents.
Added 25 new hairstyles, bringing the selection to 41.
Browse hairstyle previews in the new gallery, or cycle through nearby styles directly in Customize.
All hairstyles include a free starting colour. Classic styles also retain free colour presets and a colour wheel.
Collect ten colours of tradable Hair Dyes from rare monster, boss and dungeon-chest drops. Each bottle permanently unlocks one colour for one hairstyle on that character.
Fixed saving appearance changes unexpectedly replaying the origin intro for existing characters.
Added a minimise button so you can browse menus while resting, then restore camp whenever you’re ready.
Your character holds a map to let others know you’re browsing. Leave camp before travelling or starting combat.
Stay in the arena queue while resting. Matchmaking waits until you’re available without removing your queue place.
Prevented accidental blue selection highlights on campfire artwork and Farm and Village roads.
