Hi everyone!
As promised last week, we've officially started building out the new currency systems that will add deeper layers to Planet No More's economy. The first one is now fully functional, and it's designed specifically around your most direct tool: the cursor itself.
Here is a look at what we've done this week:
We've implemented the first of our new currencies: Cursor Shard. Once you unlock the relevant upgrade, every single manual hit you land with your cursor generates Shards. It's a dedicated reward loop for players who like to stay active and click.
Cursor Shards are spent exclusively on cursor-related upgrades. You can boost your cursor's damage, increase its hit radius, and reduce its cooldown, all using Shards you've earned through your own clicks.
You can also invest Shards into increasing the amount of Shards earned per hit, creating a satisfying snowball effect the more you engage with manual gameplay.
On top of all that, we're designing some future cursor-exclusive upgrades that will also require Shards to unlock. We'll share more details on those once they're closer to being finalized.
Next week, we'll be working on yet another new currency to expand the economy even further. Stay tuned!
If you haven't yet, please add Planet No More to your Steam Wishlist. Every single wishlist helps us with visibility and keeps the momentum going!
Thanks for following our journey. See you next time!
