This update overhauls how weapons interact with monster ailments. Grand Hunt controls and post-crafting feedback have also been improved.
Weapon Ailment Rework
- Poison, Paralysis, Sleep, and Blast now build up when attacks land with a weapon that carries the matching ailment value. The ailment triggers when buildup reaches the monster's resistance threshold.
- Every weapon now has explicit ailment values. Heavy weapons apply more buildup per hit, while faster weapons apply smaller amounts more frequently.
- Repeatedly triggering the same ailment raises the threshold for the next trigger. Empowered and Apex monsters have higher resistance than Standard monsters.
- Poison deals damage over 15 seconds, Paralysis stops actions, Sleep empowers the next hit, and Blast deals immediate damage while helping with part breaks.
- Stun knocks the monster down. Exhaust reduces monster Attack and attack frequency for 20 seconds.
- Ailment skills only amplify ailments already present on the weapon. They do not add a new ailment to a weapon that has none.
- Ailment values are now shown in Build, Crafting, and the Wiki weapon list. The Wiki combat guide now explains buildup, trigger effects, duration, and repeat resistance.
Grand Hunt and Crafting
- Restyled the Hunt Chart quantity controls for 1, +1, +10, and Max as clear buttons. The selected quantity and maximum craftable amount are now shown together.
- Fixed material requirements showing zero when no Chart could be crafted. The cost of one Hunt Chart is now shown instead.
- Added descriptions of the effects granted by each Orb to Grand Hunt progress, result history, and Orb inventory.
- Enlarged the clickable area of the Return to Hunt button.
- Prevented duplicate crafting requests when a gear crafting button is pressed repeatedly in quick succession.
- Crafting success now names the crafted item and confirms that it was saved to owned gear. Crafted gear no longer appears to disappear from the current view.
- If the server reports that the item was already crafted, owned gear is resynchronized automatically.
