Patch Notes - Character Roster, Perk Trees, and Limit Breaks
New Features
- Character Roster - Added selectable Aria and Gen character profiles with distinct models, stats, playstyles, and abilities.
- Gen Player Model and Animations - Added Gen's first- and third-person models, animation set, and networked model switching.
- Character-Specific Abilities - Aria uses Crimson Eclipse to drain nearby enemies and restore health. Gen uses Orbital Fire Control to call repeated orbital strikes.
- Limit Break System - Build Limit Break charge through combat, activate character-specific abilities, and track charge, readiness, and active duration directly on the HUD.
- Limit Break Upgrades - Added upgrades for Limit Break damage, radius, duration, healing, kill requirements, and multi-target behavior.
- Character Perk Trees - Added dedicated Aria and Gen perk paths with character eligibility rules and mutually exclusive upgrade branches.
- Upper Platforms Mission - Added the Upper Platforms mission to the mission catalog with new ramps, bridges, catwalks, elevated arenas, and navigation routes.
Hub and Progression Improvements
- Character Selection UI - Added character browsing, model previews, stat summaries, ability descriptions, and equip flow in the Hub.
- Character-Specific Perk Shop - The Hub now displays the selected character's perk tree and prevents incompatible upgrades from being purchased.
- Profile Migration - Existing perk progress is migrated to the new character-specific skill paths while preserving saved unlocks where possible.
- Improved Limit Break Feedback - Added character-specific VFX, SFX, target effects, tethers, and active-state feedback for Limit Breaks.
