Canvas, Water, Swarm (The Forest Gets Thicker)

Hello, Hikers!

Not every threat in this forest has teeth. Sometimes it is a torn tent, a river that lasts longer than your strength, or a cloud of insects that will not let you think. Here is what changed.

Tents can now be repaired after they are destroyed. The camp is not lost – you can stretch the canvas back up and get the fire going again.

Swimming has been rebuilt. The old Oxygen bar is gone. In its place is Vitality – a reserve of strength. It drains whenever you swim, no matter how deep you go. Run it dry and you no longer sink to the bottom: you start taking damage instead. Get to shore before the reserve hits zero.

For those who keep to the water, there is a new talent: Seaborn. It raises your maximum Vitality for swimming, so a long crossing costs you less.

The mosquito swarm has been reworked. Swarms appear more often now. Stay inside one and they deal periodic damage until you get out. Do not linger in the reeds.

And one more thing. The trees are finally updated – dense and fluffy, a proper wall of foliage 🌳

Patch the tent. Watch your Vitality. Keep moving through the swarm.

See you on the trail.

Whilst you're building a fire and counting the steps to the nearest shelter, something out there, amongst the trees, is changing too. It's becoming smarter. Hungrier. Here's the latest on the forest's inhabitants. BARKERS New type: Night Barkers As the sun sets, creatures previously unseen appear in the forest. Night Barkers are more resilient than their…Community17 Jul 2026Devs Diary #14New Collections System Hellо, Hikers! Every detail matters if you want to get to the bottom of things. We’ve significantly revamped and expanded the collectibles system – Collections are now part of the game. Secrets and clues scattered across the world are now linked together and will be shared across all scenarios. Searching the wilderness for them is worth it not just out of curiosity: in fu…
