Playtest update – 6 October 2026 (late evening)

Fixes after tonight's late multiplayer test · Tanks: tanks built with upgraded parts (such as the Bison hull) lost their hull and turret at a distance, leaving only the tracks. Fixed. · Tanks: the Bison's turret now sits properly on its hull. · Lasers: they hit the hull, not the empty space above the ship. · Selection: a selected Hornet and the other small ships stay clearly visible on the zoom…

Playtest update – 6 October 2026 (evening)

Fixes after tonight's multiplayer test · Research: the Hornet and the Heavy Laser could not be started because the rotating 3D preview swallowed the click on the Research button. Fixed. · Research slots: a project only starts if there is a free research slot (Quick research needs two). If there isn't one, the panel says so in red, and starting a project never pauses another one. · Mercenaries:…

A new playtest build is out: the colony surface comes alive, and every colony grows into a small town around its buildings. · Roads around every building: asphalt, sidewalk and a yellow dashed centre line, painted right onto the terrain. Demolish a building and the grass grows back. · Street lamps, benches, trash cans, fire hydrants and electric boxes along the streets. · Cars: two parked and t…

A quick fix after this morning's update. Fix · On a planet that is being colonized, the planet menu no longer offers the Colonize command. The colonizing player sees it as their own planet: they can open the surface and deploy tanks. Known issues, being worked on · The narrator still mispronounces a few words. · Some rotating 3D models on the panels are too dark or too bright. · On the surface,…

Game update · published 1 Oct 2026, 13:55:31 UTC

Minor update – 1 October (afternoon)

- Tutorial: fixed a bug where the game could stay paused while the narrator waited for you to return to the right screen. When this happened, newly placed buildings never finished and the pause button could not resume the game. - The button labels on the build panel, the fleet info panel and the fleet split panel have been redone, and their click areas now match the buttons exactly.
