How long do games like this hold their players, and where is this one on that curve? · 20 hidden object games on a curve
Hidden object games, every price and launch size · pick a price and a size to narrow it; a cohort needs 20 games for its own curve
A game’s launch level is the best of its first three monthly averages; every later month is a share of it, so the curve reads as a share of launch, not as players. The band is the 25th to 75th percentile of the cohort’s games at each month, drawn wherever 20 games have reached that month (20 at launch). Month 0 is the launch month, which usually holds the launch spike, so most games are under half by month 1 or 2. Monthly averages come from the imported archive back to 2012 and SteamPeaks’ own daily rollups after it. Recomputed weekly, last on 12 Sep 2026. How this is computed. Data by SteamPeaks.com.

A revival is a month after the first year whose average is above 1.5 times the median of the six months before it and at least a fifth of the launch level (never under a hundred players); the board keeps games that launched at 100 average players or more, so that a multiple is a multiple of something, and ranks them by their biggest revival month.
