A new bundled collection - Fairy Tale
BITRATE for mp4 / mov / webm - a slider with the resulting bitrate. You can also type in yours.
You can see what an export will weight - now a gray estimate sits left of the EXPORT button for images and video. The estimates is usually accurate, in the most cases the resulting file comes out close to or below the number shown
The title screen is much cheaper to draw now - it was the most expensive screen in the app
GIF frame rate options were inaccurate (were 15 / 30 / 60, now 10 / 20 / 50). A GIF format stores each frame's delay in whole 1/100 of a second, so only a frame rate that divides 100 plays true
A video exported from the Sandbox did not match the app, and it juddered. Now it's tied to the frames being written, not to real time
Fixed the performance regressions 1.0.1 introduced. Both came from the same: cellular patterns that had a warp and cell interaction, and the reaction taking its step count off the frame rate
Optimizations for all types of shaders
