Have you ever noticed that some of the vomit and blood decals in the game looked a little... bigger after loading your save?
And then you loaded the save again.
And they got even bigger.
And again...
Suddenly, one small mess had apparently decided it wanted to become the main attraction.
Luckily, this wasn't a new gameplay feature it’s just a bug.

Every time the game was saved, it recorded the location, rotation, and scale of the decals created by NPCs. When loading the save, the game recreated each decal with its default size and then applied the saved scale on top of it.
The problem was that the game was effectively saying:
“Here's the original size... and here's the size you already had. Let's add them together!”

The fix was simple: instead of adding the saved scale to the default scale, the game now reapplies the recorded scale directly.
So you can save, load, save again, and load again without your NPCs slowly turning one unfortunate accident into a full-scale crime or swamp scene.
