This Demo update is now live on Windows and macOS.
New features
- Added Small (80%), Standard (100%), and Large (120%) body-text options under Settings → Display → Text Size. Changes apply immediately to key reading areas and are saved automatically.
- Added finale links to the full game’s Steam page, Bilibili, and Xiaohongshu so you can keep up with future updates.
Fixes and improvements
- Fixed verified character names that could display incorrectly after upgrading an older Steam save, with stronger safeguards during save repair.
- Fixed a timing issue that could allow family-tree edits while a verification batch was completing, reducing the risk of progress inconsistencies.
- Reduced the brightness of the white flash during portrait capture.
- Fixed the macOS photo picker close-button position and Todo List title-bar layout.
- Improved the Settings window layout and interaction in both windowed and fullscreen modes.
