Hi farmers, 😄
Farm Factory Simulator is now officially available in Early Access!
Thank you very much to everyone who played the Demo, shared feedback, reported issues, added the game to your wishlist, and supported us leading up to this launch.
Please note that Demo progression cannot be carried over directly to the Early Access version, so players will need to start a new game.
During the Demo period, we made many adjustments to progression, balancing, unlock flow, economy, and overall gameplay based on player feedback and play experience. Because of these changes, the Early Access version is designed to provide a different and more refined progression experience from the Demo.
Starting from the beginning will allow players to experience the updated progression, balancing, unlock flow, and new content in the way they are intended to be played.
With the Early Access version, players can now continue beyond the Demo progression and experience more systems, content, and features that were not available before.
Please note that the highlights below are not a complete list of everything included in Early Access. They are only several key features and content areas we would like to introduce. Many other details, unlocks, and surprises can be discovered directly as you play and progress through the game.
In Early Access, special visitors can begin arriving at your farm with their own personalities, backgrounds, and storylines.
Each visitor may bring unique quests and challenges. By completing their requests, you can gradually develop your relationship with them and learn more about who they are and why they came to your farm.
In the initial Early Access version, three unique visitors are introduced. Each character has their own relationship progression that can be developed up to a certain Relationship Level.
Meeting these visitors will not always happen automatically. Each character has their own prerequisites that must be fulfilled before they can appear. These conditions may differ depending on the visitor and can be connected to certain activities, production progress, commodities, or other developments on your farm.
As your relationship grows, you will receive new challenges and continue progressing through their personal story.
During the Early Access period, we plan to introduce additional visitors and continue expanding the stories of both existing and future characters.
The Store is no longer the only way to sell the products created from your plants and livestock.
Early Access introduces the Drone Delivery Station, a special Machine that allows you to complete delivery projects for different locations.
Each delivery location has its own requirements, preferred commodities, and changing requests. To complete these projects, you may need to design specific production lines capable of producing and delivering the requested items efficiently.
This system gives players another reason to expand and reorganize their factory. Instead of only producing commodities for the Store, you will also need to consider which products are currently requested by each delivery location.
New delivery areas can be unlocked gradually. Each location requires a certain amount of reputation before it becomes available, giving you more destinations and project opportunities as your farm develops.
The number of Drone Delivery Stations you can own is also limited by your farm progression. To operate more delivery projects at the same time, you will need to continue developing and expanding your farm.
The Early Access version provides access to more features and content beyond what was available in the Demo.
Below are several areas that have been expanded.
Additional plants and livestock become available as you progress.
Each addition brings new commodities into your production system, including different harvests and livestock products. These materials can be stored, processed, sold, or used as ingredients for more advanced products.
A wider selection of commodities also encourages players to build more varied production lines instead of relying on only a small number of products.
New Production Machines allow raw farm commodities to be converted into additional processed products.
These Machines introduce more recipes and multi-stage production opportunities, creating longer connections between farming, storage, processing, and selling.
As more Machines become available, players can create increasingly specialized production areas for different commodity types and recipes.
Early Access also expands the selection of Machines used to move, organize, and control commodities throughout the factory.
Additional routing and logistics options help players divide, combine, filter, transport, and organize production flows more effectively.
These Machines become especially useful as factories grow larger and begin handling several plants, livestock products, and processed commodities at the same time.
The goal is to provide more ways to solve bottlenecks and allow each player to design a production pipeline that fits their preferred layout and strategy.
As your farm progresses, you will be able to unlock expansions for both the Factory and Store at certain Levels.
Factory expansions provide more space for Production Machines, Storage Machines, conveyors, and other logistics components. This allows you to build larger production lines, separate different processing areas, and manage more commodities at the same time.
Store expansions provide additional space to display and sell products created from your plants, livestock, and processing systems.
These expansions are tied to your overall progression. As more content becomes available, expanding your Factory and Store becomes an important part of developing a larger and more efficient farm.
More Decorations are available for players who want to personalize their farm and factory.
These additions provide more options for organizing outdoor areas, decorating production spaces, and giving different parts of the farm their own visual identity.
As your farm expands, you will have more opportunities to create a space that is not only efficient, but also feels personal.
These are only some of the highlights available beyond the Demo. Early Access is also the beginning of the next stage of development. We will continue introducing new content, expanding existing systems, developing more visitor stories, and reviewing feedback from the community throughout the Early Access period.
Your feedback, suggestions, and bug reports are very important for helping us improve the game. If you encounter any issues, confusing progression, balancing problems, or unexpected behavior, please let us know through the in-game Bug Report / Feedback feature or by sharing your thoughts in the Steam Discussions.
We will continue reading and collecting player feedback as we decide which improvements, fixes, and additional content should be prioritized next.
Thank you very much for your support, feedback, reports, and wishlists. We hope you enjoy building, automating, expanding, and discovering what awaits in Farm Factory Simulator Early Access.
See you on the farm! 🌱
