Hello everyone!
While working on the next patch—which is definitely no longer "atomic"—I've accumulated a number of quality-of-life improvements that will make the game noticeably smoother. There is no point in delaying their release!
The bottom panel has been redesigned, and there is a lot of new stuff here:
Sector Manager: Many players complained about having to spend time searching for specific objects, and mentioned it would be great to see all empire-wide information at once. The new Sector Manager window solves this exact problem.
Station and planet statistics, new colonization candidates, objects for research, and even enemies in scouted sectors—everything can now be found in this new menu.
Notification Settings: Have you squeezed the maximum amount of food out of your current planets, but the population still occasionally complains about hunger? Well, they might just have to endure it until the end of the operation, but you certainly don't have to endure their complaints!
You can now customize each individual notification type, disabling it completely or muting the audio only.
Auto-Recruit Admirals: There is now an option to enable automatic admiral recruitment for all stations at once. The button for this is also available in the bottom panel.
Greedy Traders: Trading admirals will now try to expand their trade contracts more aggressively, leading to a more efficient use of fleet cargo holds. This means higher average fleet load and fewer parallel, duplicate shipments.
Hope you enjoy these improvements! And thank you once again for your feedback! Unfortunately, I can't reply to all your emails and forum posts, but I do my best to read everything. Thank you all so much!
