Greetings, Dominus!
All good things must come to an end... and Dominus Automa Playtest is no exception. After four incredible weeks, the current phase will officially come to an end on September 6th, 8:00 PM CEST / 1:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM PT.
And while we're a little bit sad to see this chapter come to a close, we couldn't be more grateful for everything that happened during this Playtest. You - our players - have once again proven what an amazing, passionate, and supportive community we have ❤️ giving us even more energy to continue our work on the project.
Thousands of you entered the world of Dominus Automa, tested its systems, shared your thoughts, reported issues, fought monsters, explored the world, and helped us push the game forward in ways we couldn't have achieved without you. And we really mean it! Our Discord server has been flooded with hundreds of messages and new members, our Feedback Forms inbox is overflowing, and our social media channels have come alive like never before. From a developer's perspective, we couldn't be happier.
Thank you!
Such enthusiasm could not go unanswered, right? We want you to have something to remember the Playtest by - a memento that takes you back to the exciting early stages of Dominus Automa's journey. That’s why each of you can not only reserve your future nickname (forever!) but also claim a special in-game pet: the "Early Bird."
Reserve Nickame and Claim Pet »
Any player who follows the instructions under the button above will receive the Pet in the next playable version of the game... and the top players on the leaderboards will get a unique, exclusive version of it! Now that's an ultimate flex.
What makes us even more optimistic, is a fact that this wasn't just an opportunity to play the game. Thanks to you, it was a true test of Dominus Automa and a chance for us to learn alongside you. Over the past four weeks, we have:
• Released 3 major patches
• Tested a wide range of systems, including point-and-click movement, PvP and a hold position toggle
• Implemented dozens of balance changes based directly on your feedback
• Fixed countless issues and made numerous improvements
• Improved the game's UI and added a few cool panels, such as Leaderboards
• Learned more about how you play, what you enjoy, and what needs further work
Of course, our adventure with Dominus Automa doesn't end here. Far from it! We are already hard at work on another version of the game, far vaster and featuring new mechanics and systems. Thanks to your feedback, we know what you expect and what new features you would like to experience.
Speaking of which...
Dominus Automa Feedback Form »
If you haven't yet filled out the dedicated Feedback Form, now is your chance! We appreciate every opinion, voice, and thought, as they help us shape the future of the project. The whole thing shouldn't take you more than 3 minutes, so let's get right to it, shall we?
To conclude today's post, we couldn't ask for a better relationship with our community. Your passion, feedback, ideas, and constant support throughout the Playtest have been nothing short of amazing - and we're incredibly grateful to have you with us on this journey.
We want you to know, that we're also preparing a major visual Playtest recap, packed with data, charts, statistics, and fun facts about everything you've achieved together. And that's not all, as we'll soon announce the date of a live Q&A, where you'll be able to ask us your questions and get answers in real time. The plans are ambitious, the enthusiasm is stronger than ever, and as long as we work together, nothing can stand in our way.
Stay tuned, stay awesome, and see you online in the next version of the game!
That’s it for today,
See you in the next devlog!
