TEAM PANIC — Gameplay and Performance Update

In this update, several changes were made to TEAM PANIC’s gameplay flow, objective guidance, co-op systems, and performance.

In some parts of the game, it could be difficult for players to understand what to do. For that reason, important interaction points have been made more visible. New markers and notifications were added for buttons, doors, magazines, logs, planks, and objective objects.

Some objective texts were made shorter and easier to understand. Notifications that could disappear too quickly and be missed now stay on screen longer. In minigames and puzzle areas, the required interaction key is now shown more clearly.

On the co-op side, several issues that could happen when two players interacted with the same system at the same time were fixed. Safer controls were added for dialogues, buttons, the carrying system, objective objects, and some scene transitions.

On the performance side, optimizations were made in many scenes that affected FPS throughout the game. Some effects, lights, shadows, distance settings, and environmental objects that created unnecessary load were adjusted. Performance-focused improvements were also made to some character and enemy visuals.

Some dark areas were made more visible. Important transition points, doors, and objective areas were improved with better lighting and visual guidance.

On the audio and animation side, adjustments were made to boss scenes, monster encounters, the throwing system, plank transitions, and some dialogue moments. Some audio and animation issues that played at the wrong time, disappeared, or continued incorrectly were fixed.

In addition, the following issues were fixed in this update:

  • Errors in door and button interactions were fixed.

  • The issue where the key was not removed in some cases was fixed.

  • Control issues after checkpoints were fixed.

  • Some widgets and notifications were prevented from overlapping.

  • Some areas where players could climb or move to unintended places were blocked.

  • Issues related to the knife, zooming, and item pickup systems were fixed.

  • Some language and translation issues were fixed.

  • Selected language and voice-over settings are now saved permanently.

  • Some puzzles were made clearer and easier to read.

  • Visual quality and readability were improved in different scenes of the game.

We continue working on TEAM PANIC. This update was prepared to make the game clearer, more stable, and more comfortable to play.
