Dig Too Deep Playtest · published · build 25282851

Seattle Indies Expo was a huge success. Over 100 people stopped by to play, hundreds of pixely goblin stickers were given away, and the team got to meet so many people interested in the idea of Cooperative game development. Now we are focused on our Early Access launch which is just over 1 week away! Our members are busy testing, preparing launch materials, crossing T's and dotting I's.
Just 1 year ago the first prototype version of Dig Too Deep had one big pink square throwing a little green square at a 3rd blue square and printed 'Working!'.
The pink square became Ol'Berta. The Green square became a goblin.
The solo project became a Cooperative
The Cooperative is becoming a Movement.
For too long, AAA studios have squeezed the creative life out of us. They hoarded the wealth we helped generate. They fired us when our wages became inconvenient. They laid us off right after successful releases. They made us crunch for no reward, kept us from our families. They flogged you for season passes and six kinds of currencies and low effort remakes of 5 year old games. Now they're replacing as many of us as they can with AI.
Dig Too Deep is a counter-punch.
The Movement is a Tiger Uppercut
PUNCH UP WITH US!
You can support us in a number of ways:
Wishlist Dig Too Deep, buy it on Sept 23rd, review it if you like it (tell us why if you don't!)
Join our crowdfunding efforts on Ko-Fi. You can name a goblin, customize a goblin or troll, you can even make the game free for Everyone if you've got a million bucks lying around!
Spread the word! Dig Too Deep is only step 1. Your friends and families should know what a worker's cooperative is all about and why games should be made this way. Learn more here.
