New Hyper Weapon:

Triple Eclipse

  • Passive: Taking burn damage heals you by 1/4th instead. Can overheal.
  • Three localized suns, each representing different flames.
  • Fire1: Throw the Flames sun.
  • Fire2: Throw the Dark Flames sun.
  • Fire3: Throw the Meteor Flames sun.
  • Suns detonate shortly after being thrown, covering a large area with their flames for 3 seconds, and then return to be thrown again.
  • Flamethrower: No changes.
  • Overheater: While detonating, suns shoot towards you like flamethrowers.
  • Flare Gun: Increased Flames level.
  • Dim Gun: Increased Dark Flames level.
  • Pocket Star: Held suns frequently cause small pulses, applying their effect to yourself and nearby enemies.
  • Lava Launcher: No changes.

Enemy/Bestiary Changes:

  • Every enemy now has a "Behaviour" description on the bestiary.
  • You can now open the Bestiary from your inventory.
  • The game pauses while the Arsenal or Bestiary are open outside the main menu. Because of this you can also navigate through them using the movement keys now.
  • The bestiary hides the health of enemies that can't get damaged directly.
  • Added titles to some bosses that didn't have them.
  • New Swarmer icon showing 3 of them.
  • Model changes to differentiate Spider Troopers, Spider Carriers and Spiderlings.
  • Greatly improved how spiders move on slopes.
  • Limited the range at which desert anomaly Tanks shoot you. (But it's still pretty long)
  • Spellbooks now have a 50% damage resistance while closed but none while flying or attacking.
  • Genesis becomes untargetable by things such as minions and homing projectiles while deflecting.

Other Changes:

  • Overhauled the main menu, adding window-change animations and icons to all buttons. Also added icons to the Settings tabs.

  • Crystal trench crystals emit particles and get darker away from their base so they don't blend into eachother as much. Remodelled the Dragon Ray egg nests.
  • Overhauled the meteorites area, with improved meteorite models, red markings on the ground, a ring of red clouds above it, and new trees which apply Earthbound when touched.

  • Added clouds under the floating pyramids and a simple model for the bases of their elevators.
  • Sparsely placed flower beds around the garden.
  • Remodelled the arches surrounding the Start Shrine.
  • You can now burn decorative flowers.
  • Added particles to the weapon swap effect and gave it colors when hypercharging or swapping from a hyperweapon.
  • The Flare Gun and Tome of Pyromancy now also work with Meteor Flames and Dark Flames.
  • Meteor Flames reworked. It now procs 5 times per second, dealing 0.2dmg and increasing its own level up to level 25. This means it starts weak and ramps up to 25dps after 5 seconds, instead of just dealing 10dps.
  • Renamed Burning to Flames.
  • New Camera Mode button for taking 360° screenshots.
  • Guilt mode automatically opens the lab's door and always causes Armageddon to spawn.
  • Defeating Genesis automatically causes Apocalypse to spawn on Guilt mode, with changes to the end of the fight to reflect that. Removed the Hands item because of this.
  • The tutorial asks you to open the inventory again if you close it before opening the bag and binding the weapons.
  • Remodelled the lab door.
  • Massive Obliterator simply fires while fire1 is held instead of being a toggle.
  • Enemy hallucinations no longer float out of the map.
  • New sound effect used by some ocean enemies when attacking.
