Week 3 - Profiles, Aim Assist & Input Improvements

Another week, another set of improvements to Circulo.

This update focuses heavily on player profiles, accessibility and making every input method feel better to use.

Four Separate Game Profiles

Circulo now supports four independent game profiles.

Each profile has its own progression and save data, making it possible to start fresh without deleting your existing progress or share the game without overwriting someone else's save.

Profiles can also be reset individually, so the old global progression reset option has been removed.

Automatic Language Selection

The language selector has been removed from the main menu now that language settings are available directly in the options menu.

On the first launch, Circulo will also attempt to automatically select your system language if it is supported by the game.

You can still change it manually at any time.

Keyboard Aiming

Keyboard players now have another control option.

It is now possible to move the aiming cursor using only the keyboard, allowing Circulo to be played without relying on mouse aiming.

Aim Assist

A new Aim Assist option has been added.

It can help keep your attacks focused on nearby enemies and makes aiming more comfortable, particularly when playing with a controller or keyboard-only controls.

Controller Navigation Improvements

Several controller navigation issues have also been fixed.

Some menus could previously attempt to focus UI elements that were not actually present or available on the current screen, resulting in broken or unpredictable navigation.

Controller focus behavior has now been cleaned up across the affected menus.

What’s Next?

There’s a reason many of the recent updates have focused on profiles, controls, input systems and other parts of the game that may not seem connected at first.

They’ve all been laying the groundwork for something much bigger.

I’m not ready to reveal it just yet - but Circulo is heading somewhere I’ve been planning for quite a while.

More soon.

Thanks for playing Circulo and for following the development!
