Hello Primals!!! This last month has been a roller coaster of new features, bugs, and updates to the entire game With the new release of Unreal engine 5.8 we have updated the project to take advantage of all it has to offer including optimizations to the engine and a plethora of new tools that will help of bring our new map to life in ways that weren't possible before.
The African wild dog and Oryx are the first to receive their new rigs and animation development is underway. These two magnificent animals will make their way way into the new playtest once they are completed and ready for gameplay testing. Both animals will bring features that are unique to their species and will hopefully live up to the hype that these animals are known for.
The African wild dog will have pack oriented abilities and calls that will surely confuse and hinder their targets.
The oryx will be a feisty herbivore that has the capabilities of impaling and ramming their target into the ground.
The match up between these two animals will be legendary and I cant wait to get it into your hands for testing. Thank you all for your patience, constructive criticism, complaints, and faith in us

Hello everyone! Over the past month, we've made a number of much-needed improvements to the project, focusing on the new features that came out, optimizations, and overall quality. These new features have significantly expanded what's possible, allowing us to push our landscape design far beyond previous limitations. With these new tools now in place, we can create more detailed, dynamic, and immersive environments than ever before. This month will be dedicated to testing as I continue sculpting the landscape and explore the full potential of these additions.
One of the newest features, in particular, will make it much easier to design deeper cave systems and dens throughout the map, opening up new possibilities for exploration and world-building.
Outside of the map itself, we've continued focusing on improving our animation skills to make the animals' movement feel more realistic, fluid, and natural. It's an ongoing learning process, but we are still working on it. The hyena is also continuing to receive attention as we work on its starvation and pregnancy mechanics. These systems are an important part of early access release that’ll be implemented.
We, as the whole dev team, really appreciate everyone for their patience as we get our game back on track. If you have any ideas or suggestions please feel free to leave us feedback or ideas in our discord!
