For this update, we spent a significant amount of time improving the game—fixing various systems, adding new items, making minor adjustments, and introducing new perspectives to enhance the overall experience.
Dead Metro’s item system is designed around different item types and tier levels. After the previous update, we found that the existing item pool was not sufficient for crafting—some item types only had white-tier items available, which limited crafting possibilities. To solve this, we added new items with additional rarity tiers beyond white. This helps expand the crafting system and better supports survival gameplay. We also introduced new, valuable items that players can sell to NPCs in safe zones.

We developed the FPS mode based on feedback from our community, as it was an exciting feature we wanted to bring into the game. The main goal of adding FPS mode is to support players who enjoy both third-person and first-person perspectives, while introducing new ways to experience gameplay. However, the FPS mode added in this update is version 1 and will continue to be refined for better realism and smoother gameplay in future updates.

Players can switch to FPS mode via the Action Wheel.

Adjusted the fishing animation to fit both Third-Person and First-Person modes better.

Notes:
Adjusted Aluminum to be much easier to find
Improved item randomization for better balance
Added hotbar item selection using the mouse scroll wheel
