Welcome back Pilots!
Today we're announcing the upcoming Steam Demo, which goes live on Friday March 20th. We're excited to finally get the game demo into your hands! This is the perfect opportunity for you to try the game, get a feel for the campaign and combat mechanics, and leave us your feedback!
What's in the demo
The following features will be available for you to try:
Play the Campaign intro (expect ~1-2 hours of play time)
Choose from 3 different starting units (expect 10x as many in the full game)
Establish an empire and battle for control of a solar system
Fill your squads with Mechs, Tanks, VTOLs, and Infantry
Pilots gain combat experience and level up, improve Attributes and gain new Pilot Traits
Try many different units and larger battles in the Hot Drop game mode
What's NOT in the demo
The following features are still in development, and are planned for the full game release later this year:
Unlock the full Star Cluster with many more solar systems and planets
Face off against rival Empires, Pirate Lords, and Mercenary groups across the star map
Player and Empire Skill Tree: gain new technologies and empire improvements
Pilot Portraits: we're working on a pilot portrait generator to be added closer to launch
We still have plenty to work on before the full game release. We'll be adding new content in the form of more mission types, additional objectives, many new planets and biomes, and tons more to discuss later.
