Hello everyone! 😊

It's been a long time since I've done anything to please you, but today I have the best thing for you that I could bring — the biggest update of all that has been released, and which turns the game upside down! 🚨

What does it contains?

  • 16 new space objects to explore and interact with! 🔥

  • The Fog of War system

  • Bigger maps!

  • A big rebalance of the economic model and not only

  • New notification system

  • A bugfix, and a million small and useful improvements.

Let's take a closer look at the changes! 🧐

The Fog of War

This is a super basic mechanic for most strategy games that has been missing from Solar Wave for so long. Everyone, including me, has long been accustomed to this fact, and it already seemed that this was really the way to go 😅 But no, the fog of war was planned from the very beginning and has now reached its incarnation.

Intelligence becomes a prerequisite for successful raids on the enemy's economy.

Objects of investigation

But fortunately, not only enemies are hiding in the fog of uncertainty!

16 new space objects have been added to the game at once, each of which can be interacted with! These include space anomalies, destroyed stations and fleets, lost cargo, artifacts, and more! Depending on the type of object and a pinch of luck, the player will be offered a choice of several options for how to deal with the find.

In some cases, this can lead to a one-time reward (currency, abilities, movable and immovable property), in others it will be possible to get a valuable source of resources for several years of mining ahead, and in some cases you can get a lot of problems if you are careless! 😈

Try them all! 🥳

Bigger maps

It is worth mentioning that all scenarios were migrated to new, larger maps - about 2.7 times bigger in area. You can explore as much as you want. And don't forget to share your thoughts on the process! ☺️

Rebalance

There has also been a major rebalancing of the economy, and beyond that. Previously, the economy could safely be called redundant, significantly reducing the challenge of playing the game. Many players found winning too easy and complained about it, but the time for easy wins has come to an end. 😰

The new economy will require a more thoughtful approach and more time for development, but new sources of resources can help to boost the economy and cover any deficits. Exploring the surroundings will be rewarded by a wise leader! 🫡

Notifications

The game has finally received the addition that players have long been eagerly awaiting.

Not all of them, but many key events have been given their own voice and visual notification. Among these are: colonization of planets, acquisition and loss of territory, destruction of space stations, and unlocking of new technologies.

It will be easier for you to stay informed.

improvements

A number of large and small changes have also been made to improve the game, designed to make the game more stable and comfortable. I hope you will enjoy it. 😊

And as always, I am waiting for your feedback - it helps a lot in developing the project and bringing the best things into the game!
