Hello,
the game just received a new update !
Most importantly, the buoyancy code was greatly optimised for large vessels. You should gain about 30% performance improvement with large ships in battles. As an example, the Bismarck which was previously composed of 11966 buoyancy components could be optimised down to 6606 components, simply by changing the buoyancy generation algorithm.
Here are the complete changes :
- buffed AA accuracy for small calibers
- increased damage application time for torpedos and shells from 20s and 3s respectively to 30s and 5s
- optimised a bit visual effects
- largely optimised the buoyancy calculation. Execution time in game should be reduced by about 30-40%, and loading time halved with large ships
- fixed torpedo planes behaving erratically
- added a button to spawn afar from the battle
- inverting the rudder will now make it turn the opposite way
- added the british 381mm Mark I turret
- current depth is now displayed on top of the depth interface
- you can now control your depth more accurately by holding space when changing depth
- fixed torpedoes going off course when pushed around. Irl they had a gyroscope to retain their direction as well
HF !
