Dear pilots,
We are excited to announce an update to PolyDestroyer! This update introduces 7 new languages and improved graphics settings! Here's what's new:
New Features & Improvements
- Localisation For 7 Languages Added: French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Norwegian, Irish, and Welsh. Select a language using the new Language button on the title screen.
- Improved Graphics Settings: Added more supported resolutions, Added a toggle for V-Sync, Added dropdown for Fullscreen, Windowed, and Fullscreen Windowed.
- New game background: Changed star particle background to give the player a reference point, it was sometimes difficult to tell if the ship was moving.
- Shop Changes: You can no longer access the shop while in-game. You must select your weapons and skin on the title screen before entering the game.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the "Highest Wave Achieved" counter on the title screen displayed an incorrect value.
- Fixed an issue where resetting your save file did not reset the "Highest Wave Achieved" value properly.
- Fixed an issue where returning to the title screen does not reshow the Options and Store buttons in some cases.
What's Next?
Stay tuned for our next update which will add Steam achievements and an improved way of unlocking weapons.
In the future we plan to add more ship customization, new ship weaponry, online multiplayer modes, and leaderboards.
