Adventure Realm: Reborn!

The new Adventure Realm Reborn update is now here! Wooopa! This massive update brings a whole new change to the game, a revamped combat system! Improved main menu, added EX boss fights, and so much more! Let's get into it!

Battle System Update!

The battle system has been completely overhauled; it has now been changed from an ATB system to the ACT Timed combat system! We'll list the various changes and delve more into depth further down.

  • ATB system has been removed and replaced with an ACT combat system.

  • Characters will now have voice intros, outros, and battle cries.

  • Max ETH has been increased from 1,000 to 2,000

  • Agility has been removed and replaced with Determination

  • Various actions have been removed and replaced with new Variant actions. Variant actions have been added to Abilities/Spells.

  • Actions being readied will now be displayed next to the party member who is readying them.

  • Cool down actions have been added

  • Minor adjustments to items have been made

  • Party members' sprites have been visually upgraded and are now crisper and clearer.

  • The Ultra Command has been removed and replaced with a status command

  • The Ultra Gauge has been replaced with SP.

  • Stances have been reduced to 3 main stances, Arcane, Tetera, and Celestine

  • Enemies now have a HUD displaying their VIT and the action they are readying,

  • Enemies' actions have been changed and now have a larger pool of actions to choose from

  • Enemies' stats have been adjusted to ensure more varied battles and to adjust to the changes of the battle system

  • AOE and Row visuals have been added.

  • Certain Elite Marks have been changed

  • VIT/ETH will no longer be fully restored after battle.

  • A new battle transition has been added

  • The aftercare system had been added

Combat system update: Variant Actions!

One of the main changes to the combat system is the introduction of Variant actions! Variant actions are different variations of actions, offering you more strategic choices in combat!

These can range from harder-hitting actions, target all, or ETh recovery style actions.

Combat system update: Status command!

The ultra command has been removed and replaced with the status command. This will allow you to have more in-depth details about the status effects applied to your party members.

Combat system update: Stance changes!

Stances have had a major change; they have now been reduced to 3 main stances, Arcane, Tetera, and Celestine, and trigger effects have now been added to each stance. Trigger effects are effects that are applied to either the enemy party or the player's party. Lusio and Saria share the same trigger effects, each for their own stances, as well as Mute and Tenshi sharing their own trigger effects.

Changing stances will now also affect the whole party rather than just the individual stance user.

(No, this wasn't a Jojo's reference.....least not on purpose)

Extreme bosses!

Are you ready for a greater challenge for a greater reward? New Extreme bosses have been added to all the dungeons! Defeating these bosses will not be easy, but winning the fight against them will reward you with powerful boss weapons that increase all of your party members' stats!

Aftercare System has been implanted!

The aftercare system has been implemented! VIT and ETH will no longer be fully restored after battle, but instead, an aftercare system where you can quickly restore your party's VIT/ETH and remove any negative effects they have been inflicted with.
