One of the main changes to the combat system is the introduction of Variant actions! Variant actions are different variations of actions, offering you more strategic choices in combat!
These can range from harder-hitting actions, target all, or ETh recovery style actions.
The ultra command has been removed and replaced with the status command. This will allow you to have more in-depth details about the status effects applied to your party members.
Stances have had a major change; they have now been reduced to 3 main stances, Arcane, Tetera, and Celestine, and trigger effects have now been added to each stance. Trigger effects are effects that are applied to either the enemy party or the player's party. Lusio and Saria share the same trigger effects, each for their own stances, as well as Mute and Tenshi sharing their own trigger effects.
Changing stances will now also affect the whole party rather than just the individual stance user.
(No, this wasn't a Jojo's reference.....least not on purpose)
Are you ready for a greater challenge for a greater reward? New Extreme bosses have been added to all the dungeons! Defeating these bosses will not be easy, but winning the fight against them will reward you with powerful boss weapons that increase all of your party members' stats!
The aftercare system has been implemented! VIT and ETH will no longer be fully restored after battle, but instead, an aftercare system where you can quickly restore your party's VIT/ETH and remove any negative effects they have been inflicted with.
