Good evening everyone, and welcome to Royalty Free-For-All 1.0.8! This update issues a number of corrections to bring the game more in line with our vision, featuring primarily a number of revisions to character balance and collision data. Please take a look:
Air Special: Last hit knockback growth increased from 0.2 → 0.4, and angle 70 → 65.
Ground Special: Hitting Nessie will cause the bubble to pop.
Ground Special: Initial trap in the bubble will no longer deal damage. (Previously dealt 6% damage)
Ground Special: On-hit Bubble Trap base duration and duration scaling reduced.
Old scaling was 45-180 frames from 0-135 damage
New scaling is 30-120 frames from 0-180 damage.
Ground Special: Fixed a crash for when a character inside Nessie’s bubble gets KO’d via max damage.
Grab: Ending lag on whiff increased by 10 frames.
Grab: Size of the initial grab hitbox decreased and hitbox moved inwards.
Grab: Second grab hitbox adjusted to ensure no new deadzones were created by previous change.
Ground Special: You can now wall tech this move.
Air Weak - Side: Hitbox size increased.
Air Weak - Up: Separated into two hitboxes, an 8 damage sweetspot and a 6 damage sourspot.
Sweetspot is in front of Sakura and behaves like old Up Air Weak.
Sourspot is behind Sakura and sends at 110 degrees (up and behind).
Air Weak - Down: Sweetspot base knockback increased and angle 295 → 290.
Air Weak - Down: Sourspot hitbox size increased. (This change doesn’t make the sweetspot harder to hit).
Air Weak: Added a new hitbox in the upper area of the attack. Deals 5 damage and has low knockback.
Fixed a crash that could occur when a projectile connected after the character who fired it was already gone.
Fixed a crash when grabbing a Break the Targets target at the exact moment the grab attack ended.
Fixed a crash on the character select screen when changing palettes with no character selected.
Fixed a crash when cycling a menu setting that only had one available option. This most often affected the window size setting on smaller displays.
