This one is for the shelf labels that ask for more items than the game actually contains, and for everyone chasing the last few items of a no-abilities run. Thank you for the screenshots and the side-by-side tests — the Pedibree Minis comparison told me exactly where to look, and I mean that: two segments, before-and-after, with counts.
🌱 Shelves no longer ask for items that don't exist. The "15/15 and 12/15" problem, and my apologies for it — this crept in with V1.1.0. When you claim a shelf segment, the game is supposed to check how many of that product are still left in the shop and size the last segment to exactly that number — 27 Pedibree Minis were always meant to fill one segment of 15 and one of 12. That check broke in V1.1.0, so the last segment asked for a full stack and then sat there forever at 12/15, telling you three items existed when they didn't. The check is fixed, and it also repairs saves that already have an over-hungry label: load your game and every claimed segment re-sizes itself to what is actually left. Nothing was ever missing — the label was lying to you.
🌱 The catalogue book and the shelves now agree. The book's counts were right all along (it says 27 Pedibree Minis in 2 sections, and that is what the shop contains) — it was the shelf labels that were wrong. I have re-checked the book against a full census of the level: 12,792 items, 682 segments, 363 products, all exact.
🌱 The end-of-run rescue now covers your last fifty items, not your last three. People were reporting 5, 26, even 37 items they couldn't find — the V1.1.1 backstop only kicked in at three remaining, which was plainly not enough. Now, once you are within fifty items of finishing, any loose item that has been knocked somewhere silly is returned to its original floor position by the 30-second tidy-up sweep. Items you are carrying and items already on shelves are never touched. This works on existing saves, needs no abilities, and should make the no-abilities achievement completable for everyone currently stuck at 99%.
🌱 The end-of-shift screen now says "Teleport". It was labelled "Trolley beam", which was the ability's name about four design ideas ago. The icon was already right; the words caught up.
