We approach our game launch and the final campaign for the Emperor on October 13! Last year, we revealed Valor Mortis at gamescom Opening Night Live. Today, we just debuted our latest reveal, a new Story Trailer.
As Napoleon's conquests halts in Eastern Europe, a plague spreads across the continent in its wake. This same dark affliction courses through William Dowsett's veins, corrupting his body yet granting him a dangerous power: he now hears the voice of Emperor Bonaparte in his mind, guiding him to usurp The Shrike's resistance of the commonfolk.
The trailer introduces a number of survivors you'll meet as you traverse the corrupted countryside. It's the first appearance of the Shrike, the rebel leader fighting Napoleon's Empire in occupied Eastern Europe. It also delivers new looks at the rest of the cast in this supernatural retelling of the Napoleonic Wars: resurrected Legionnaire and player character William Dowsett, fellow soldier James Stewart, and lamplighter Lucjan Skawiński.
We are now less than two months away from launching our studio's biggest game. On October 13, you'll see everything we have been working on for years:
