Based on reports that opening cores required frequent attention, hunts stayed unsettled after an enemy appeared defeated, and enhanced equipment was not reflected in auto-equipping, we have improved idle-play convenience and the reliability of hunting and equipment updates.
More core storage and 8 hours of auto-opening
The Beast Market - Grand Warehouse core-storage DLC is now even more useful. Its capacity has increased from 240 to 500 cores, and it now includes automatic core opening every 10 minutes for 8 hours. Existing DLC owners can use these improvements at no additional cost.
- Turn auto-opening ON or OFF in the battle window. It is OFF by default.
- Turning it ON activates it for 8 hours from that moment.
- While it is ON, manually opening cores resets the expiry to 8 hours from that moment. Both opening all cores and opening individual cores from your inventory count.
- You can press “Refresh to 8 hours” even while time remains, so you can refresh it before bed. This also works with 0 cores.
- The remaining active time and the countdown to the next automatic opening are shown separately.
Please note
- Without the DLC, capacity remains 100 cores and auto-opening is unavailable.
- Automatic opening does not extend its own 8-hour duration. Refreshing sets a new expiry 8 hours ahead; it does not add time to the remaining duration.
- Cores that exceed your storage limit between the 10-minute openings are lost. The 500-core capacity and auto-opening reduce the need for manual attention, but do not guarantee that cores will never overflow.
- Offline rewards are settled when you return. Existing offline reward multipliers and time limits are unchanged.
Want to spend less time returning to the game just to open cores?
Switch on auto-opening before bed or before heading out, and make your daily hunts more convenient. With expanded storage and auto-opening in one package, now is a great time to consider Grand Warehouse!

Combat display, hunt times and settlement now line up
- Fixed excessive on-screen big-move damage that could make an enemy appear defeated before the server was ready to settle the hunt.
- Estimated hunt times, hunt logs and time-attack records now use the same hunt-time basis as server settlement. Entrance animations and result-screen time are not included in records.
- Revised the remaining-time calculation after a big move. Big moves also affect the server's combat calculation.
- Additional damage from knockdown, exhaustion and follow-up attacks is now applied during the periods when those effects actually occur.
- Added knockdown, exhaustion and follow-up modifier labels to damage displays, making affected attacks easier to identify.
- Fixed mismatches between the actual combat timeline and the durations shown by status-effect icons and hunt logs.
Because combat calculations have been corrected, estimated hunt times may differ from before the update even with the same equipment. This update makes no further changes to the base Attack or passive multipliers adjusted in the previous patch.
Poison, blast and capture calculations corrected
- Fixed poison and blast damage being mixed into normal-attack and big-move display processing, causing their displayed values to fluctuate.
- Poison and blast use the monster's original maximum HP, regardless of capture settings.
- Capture no longer means fighting an enemy with reduced maximum HP. It now succeeds when the monster's HP reaches 20% or less of its original maximum HP.
- Damage that has not occurred yet, such as future poison ticks, is no longer counted early. Unapplied damage after a kill or capture is not counted either.
The Wiki: Combat Mechanics also explains effects being cut short by the end of combat, faster low-level farming, and the shared cap on additional contributions such as ailments.
Time-attack records and Attack Up improvements
- New personal and server bests store the hunt time actually used for settlement.
- Old records with a different calculation basis are kept separate; rankings use records obtained under the new method. Old records are not converted using estimates.
- For Attack Up active when a record was set, you can now check Attack before and after the buff and its multiplier. Old records without this information are not treated as proof of “no buff.”
- Fixed an incorrect start-time calculation when purchasing 60 minutes of Attack Up at once in the Material Shop, which could prevent the buff from taking effect immediately after purchase.
Orb enhancement inheritance and confirmed results
- When you craft a new higher-tier weapon of the same upgrade branch and weapon type, it inherits the accepted orb enhancement from its immediate predecessor.
- The original weapon keeps its enhancement, with no additional cost for inheritance. An existing enhancement on the higher-tier weapon is not overwritten. This does not apply retroactively to weapons you already own.
- Accepting an orb-enhancement candidate now updates confirmed equipment data, skill totals, the granted-point breakdown and automatic optimization consistently.
- Revised synchronization to prevent unaccepted candidates from being calculated as equipped, or delayed responses from restoring outdated enhancement data.
See the inheritance conditions in the Wiki: Grand Hunt and Orb Enhancement.
Auto-equipping, equipment search and display
- Automatic optimization now prefers your current equipment when candidates have the same hunt time. Fixed beneficial weapon swaps being accompanied by switches to gathering armor that provided no improvement.
- Added explanations of auto-equipping modes and priority, plus a view of the target, reason and changed slots for the latest automatic change during the current launch.
- Improved recovery when communication fails during quest switching.
- Organized charm search around the skills actually granted. Searching for Luck no longer also matches charms that only grant Increased Loot.
- Improved armor search and guidance from a draft loadout to actually applying it.
- Corrected Legend equipment displays that made it easy to confuse the crafted series, the owned series and the currently equipped weapon type.
- Updated descriptions of skills that boost physical Attack to clarify how this differs from affecting elemental damage.
Connection stability and Wiki improvements
- Revised recovery from temporary database connection problems and reduced duplicate data retrieval.
- Fixed the Traditional Chinese Wiki sidebar and other elements unnecessarily falling back to English.
- Combat Guide: updated core auto-opening, poison, blast, capture, hunt times, damage modifiers and buff conditions recorded with hunt records.
- Grand Hunt and Orb Enhancement: added conditions for enhancement inheritance to higher-tier weapons.
- Build Simulator: improved skill-point calculations with selectable orb-enhancement candidate pools and levels for each piece of equipment.
