Based on reports received since the previous major update, v0.20260902.2, this update focuses on hunt settlement, quest selection, equipment switching, core reward visibility, and finding items on the Steam Community Market.
Hunt settlement and reward stability
- Fixed cases where settlement could remain pending after combinations of manual actions, Auto Progress, Proceed to Next, target changes, or reconnection.
- Strengthened recovery so a confirmed hunt result can be reconciled after a temporary connection loss without granting the same reward twice.
- Improved recovery for interrupted first-clear rewards and blueprint grants.
- Core displays now distinguish in-battle estimates from the amount confirmed by the server.
- Hunt and capture logs now retain the actual measured hunt time.
Preview core contents in-game
- Hover over “Open All Cores” in the hunt window to see possible drops and their rates.
- The preview reflects the monster, hunt/capture/part-break core type, and your current Research Level.
- Pools containing blueprints are now easier to identify.
- Drop rates are displayed with enough precision to stay consistent with the Wiki.
- The layout stays within the hunt window and screen even when a pool contains many items.
- The preview can be disabled in Settings.
Apex time trials
- Personal best and server-best times are now recorded for every Apex monster.
- The current server-best holder receives a crown indicator.
- Anyone can inspect the equipment, skills, and stats used for the server-best run, without revealing the player’s name.
- Validation was strengthened so records from non-production environments cannot enter the official ranking.
Quests and Tactical Computer
- Added a choice between a visual panel view and a compact list view on the Quest screen.
- View mode, sorting, and scroll position are retained more reliably after reopening or synchronization.
- Reworked Tactical Computer equipment switching. In addition to saved loadouts, it can choose a suitable configuration from equipment you own.
- Auto-change scope can be set to Weapon Only, Weapon and Armor, or All Equipment.
- Fixed target/loadout mismatches when using Proceed to Next or changing the hunt target.
- Improved loadout synchronization to reduce lost settings after updates or changes from multiple devices.
Combat and equipment display
- Damage reduction is now capped at 95%. Values calculated above 95% are treated as 95% in combat.
- The Build screen now states this maximum.
- Changing the targeted body part now replans attacks without discarding current battle progress.
- Fixed weapon orb-augmentation information overflowing to the right of the equipment screen.
- Restored mouse-wheel scrolling while the pointer is over weapon trees, armor, charms, and other crafting content.
UI and performance
- Fixed missing or obscured dropdown content after changing languages.
- Isolated the Hunting Assistant from the UI scale setting to prevent extreme enlargement and clipping.
- Fixed a JavaScript error that could prevent the app from starting.
- Added a setting to enable or disable reduced frame rate while the app is inactive.
- Reduced unnecessary redraws in menus, dropdowns, and scrolling panels.
Improved Steam Community Market search
- Added and reorganized search tags for Steam Community Market items.
- Items can now be narrowed down by category, rarity, monster, material part, orb type, blueprint rank, equipment slot, weapon type, and more.
- Revised the classifications for gathered materials, monster materials, individual monster gems, orbs, equipment blueprints, and season rewards.
- Corrected Legend equipment that had been classified as Standard, and separated Harvest equipment into its own classification.
- Item IDs, names, ownership, marketability, and the direct-trade restriction have not changed.
Important: please relist items listed before the search-tag update
Due to how Steam Inventory assets work, items moved to Steam Inventory or listed before the new search tags were added do not receive those tags retroactively. The listing remains valid, but it may not appear when shoppers use the new filters.
If you have an affected item listed, please relist it using these steps:
- Cancel the listing on the Steam Community Market.
- In Beast Market, use Steam Transfer → Receive to return the item to your in-game inventory.
- Transfer the same item from the game to Steam Inventory again.
- Set its price and list it again on the Steam Community Market.
Canceling and relisting only within Steam is not enough to refresh the search tags. The item must first return to the game and then be transferred back to Steam.
This process does not change the item’s ownership or quantity. You will need to set the listing price again.
Thank you for the many detailed reports. We will continue improving the reliability and clarity of hunting, crafting, builds, and trading.
