Hello everyone!
I'm finally able to announce the release date of the next major update and break the silence that's lasted a little too long.
Three busy months of development are now behind us, and in less than a week, on June 11, the new update will be available to all players.
To be honest, the release was postponed several times. Each time there were new things that I wanted to polish, fix, or improve. But at some point, you have to draw the line and release the update. So I've decided not to delay it any further. You may still encounter a few rough edges after launch, and I hope you'll understand.
As with previous major updates, the release will be followed by a series of smaller patches focused on fixing issues and improving the game based on your feedback.
Now, let's take a quick look at what you can expect from the update.
This is a brand-new area consisting of three subzones:
Laboratory Wing
Medical Wing
Technical Level
Based on my own experience, the new content should take around one to two hours to complete, although the actual playtime will naturally vary depending on each player's playstyle.
Two new outfits will be added to the game, with even more planned for the months following the update.
A great deal of attention has been given to the main storyline. New areas have been created for the story, existing locations have been reworked, and the overall narrative has undergone significant changes. Notes and diaries have been completely reorganized, while a number of dialogues have been rewritten and improved.
The crafting system has also received some attention. You can now choose how many items to craft at once, and a new resource has been added to help create missing materials needed for outfit crafting.
Work on the character animations is still ongoing, and there is still plenty left to do. However, this update already introduces new walking and combat animations for Ealish.
In addition, you will now be able to change Ealish's hairstyles.
And of course, the update includes dozens of other improvements, fixes, and smaller changes that may not be immediately noticeable, but all contribute to making the game better.
A detailed changelog will be published separately on the day of the update's release.
So don't miss the launch on June 11!
Right now, I am actively testing the game, trying to find and fix as many issues as possible while also improving the visual presentation ahead of release.
Thank you for continuing to support Lunar Eclipse.
See you in less than a week!
