Hello, this is MakeRejoiceGames.
We have prepared a major update for the DARK IN LIGHT Demo.
This update goes beyond bug fixes and brings major improvements across many of the game's core systems, including combat, melee weapons, the shop and upgrade systems, inventory, saving, cutscenes, options, and level design.
The Office and Gas Station levels have been extensively redesigned, while new features such as melee weapon durability and leveling, Steam Cloud saves, DLSS settings, customizable key bindings, aim assist, and a Continue system have been added.
We have also improved player and zombie animations, combat feedback, audio, camera effects, UI, stability, and overall performance.

Fixed an issue where melee combo attacks would not trigger correctly.

Added a system that changes melee attack direction based on vertical mouse movement.
Zombies now move more slowly after taking damage to their legs.
Added a new consecutive attack pattern for zombies.
Added camera shake when boss zombies move.
Adjusted camera shake effects and intensity across all weapons.
Improved the overall structure of the shop and upgrade systems.
Improved shop and upgrade button text and related information.
Updated the shop design.
Fixed issues where some shop buttons did not function properly.
Improved ammunition and armor purchases to display the purchase quantity and current amount owned.
Improved the maximum upgrade limits for weapons.
Fixed bugs related to maximum weapon upgrade levels.
Overhauled the overall weapon upgrade system.
Fixed issues where some weapon upgrades were not applied correctly.
Added the ability to repair melee weapon durability at the shop.
Fixed an issue where purchasing armor could make the player invincible.
Updated the upgrade shop icon.
Weapons can now be equipped directly by clicking their images in the inventory.
Healing items can now be used directly by clicking their images in the inventory.
First aid kits can now be used directly from the inventory.
Miscellaneous items now display their names and play a sound when selected.
Added a new document system.

Added destructible objects.
Added a system that allows destroyed objects to randomly drop items.
Added a dedicated icon for broken melee weapons.
Updated the save icon.
Updated player movement animations.
Improved animation transitions to make player movement feel smoother and more natural.
Improved transitions between walking and running.
Reduced the player's movement speed while running backward.
The player's upper body now naturally follows the camera direction while rotating the camera in an idle state.
Fixed unnatural upper-body movement when holding a firearm without aiming.
Improved an issue where the player's eyes could appear abnormal under certain lighting and reflection conditions.

Reorganized the Display section in the Options menu.
Added DLSS settings to the Display options.
Added an aim assist option for firearms.
Added customizable key bindings.
Removed the existing feedback button.
Future feedback and community communication will primarily take place through the Steam Community.
Added a system where discovering messages about love and Bible-related messages can increase maximum HP and stamina.
Adjusted the volume balance of background music during dangerous situations.
Added new melee weapon sound effects.
Updated and improved event sound effects.
Updated tutorial sound effects.
Improved overall game performance and optimization.
Development of the full version of DARK IN LIGHT is continuing alongside this major Demo update.
We are continuing to develop new locations, content, puzzles, events, enemies, combat systems, and more that will appear beyond the portion available in the Demo.
We will continue improving the full game based on the systems refined through the Demo and feedback from players.
This major update is not only about fixing bugs. Our goal was to refine the overall DARK IN LIGHT experience, including combat, exploration, progression, controls, and overall gameplay.
We will continue testing, improving, and polishing DARK IN LIGHT based on player feedback.
