Hi. One final update post before release. If all goes well, the game will be coming out July 9 at 1:00PM EST/19:00 CEST.
First off, I want to express my gratitude for the support everyone has shown along the way. The demo has 87 positive reviews on Steam,,, 100% of these are positive. That's insane. I know this game is probably not going to be everyone's cuppa tea, but I'm happy it vibes well with the right people.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who bought the demo soundtrack on Bandcamp. Currently, it sits at 133 lifetime sales, which is pretty crazy
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get names for all the people who bought the game for the special thanks credits... If you bought the soundtrack & end up finding that you're not mentioned in the credits, please email me when the game's out! ([email protected])
Anyway,,,, last week, I asked people if they had any questions for Mesmer, this game's beloved iconic primary character. You can read the QnA here: https://orbitaldot.com/posts/mesmer-qna/
With those things out of the way, I thought I should make note of a few things,,,
> Can I transfer my save data over from the demo?
When you start the game for the first time and if demo save data is detected, you'll be asked if you want to carry it over. This might be useful if you've collected all 18 "endings" in the demo. However, I still recommend to play from the beginning, since the full game features a more polished experience and some new interactions that weren't present in the demo. It's short, anyway.
> How long is the full game?
It's not a terribly long game, you can probably finish the main story in an afternoon. It'll probably take a bit longer to find everything else the game has to offer though,,,!
(By the way, the full game's soundtrack is an hour long. You'll be able to get it on Steam and on Bandcamp once the game is out)
> Are there plans for updates after the game is out?
I would love to have the game officially localised when it's out, for one. Aside from that, I'm not opposed to bigger content updates further down the line (such as additional "endings" & new interactions)
> Steam Deck compatible?
The game is playable on the deck, just make sure to use the trackpad for the best experience!
> Mac support?
Not at release, unfortunately.
Hopefully you'll enjoy what I made. The people who have played through the full thing for me had really nice things to say, so it should be alright,,, See you tomorrow, ahe, !
