This update focuses on making BITVOXEL feel smoother when loading worlds and simulating larger circuits.
The biggest improvement is the first-time logic simulation pass. Large circuits should now finish their initial calculation much faster, especially after loading a world or placing/removing blocks. The game now handles topology rebuilds and long circuit chains more efficiently, so you should spend less time waiting for a build to “wake up.”
What changed:
Improved first-time circuit simulation speed after world load and block edits
World meshes now load immediately when opening a save instead of waiting for logic updates
Fixed quick one-tick switch pulses getting missed gates
Improved logic catch-up behavior for large circuits
Optimized voxel scanning during circuit rebuilds
Continued fixes for large logic builds that could visually or logically feel delayed
This update should make big saves feel much better to load, test, and debug.
I’m continuing to work through simulation edge cases and performance issues as players build larger and more complex circuits. Thanks to everyone sending bug reports and test saves. They help a lot.
Thanks for playing BITVOXEL.
