SOLITAIRE.EXE build 110
the music rework ships whole, and quitting stops being a rewind.
- CTRL_Z.EXE - the taboo verb, licensed. One undo per shift, sold as a program: it rewinds your last scoring move, the chain heat and the chips with it, and MGMT pretends not to notice.
- DIAL_UP.NET - the 56k line delivers the deck in bursts of three. Draw once, get three cards fanned, play any of them. The stock runs out faster and the reads get deeper.
- HOT DESK - a new review term. Your tool rack loses its seat for the deal, and the rack's verbs go dark.
- END OF SHIFT - winning the week finally out-louds losing it: SHIFT COMPLETE, payroll-green glyph rain, the zoom, then the tube degausses. Any press skips it.
- EVERY GENRE'S OPENING RECORD - re-recorded from real sampled instruments. That song is also where the title screen and shop music are cut from, so those finally match the rest of the set. Nine genres were carrying instruments you never heard: strings, pads, arps and hoovers that loaded and never played.
- THE DJ SET - the neurofunk night runs three songs in sections, moved along on the song's own bar lines, with brakes, spinbacks and echo-outs on the bigger transitions. Heat changes land on the beat now instead of mid-phrase.
- QUITTING NO LONGER REWINDS THE SHOP - your money, your programs, the deal's dice and your slot spins save the instant a transaction lands, and a finished night is banked at the paycheck. Quitting to desktop used to hand the wagers back and reset the spin counter, so the casino could be re-rolled for legendaries on demand.
- ALSO - SLOTS.EXE can no longer be spun on top of itself, a double-tap can no longer take two MONDAY.LNK packages or strand MEETING.REQ on screen, the monkey and the janitor's handouts are once a run again, and the overkill ladder grows two rungs where good runs actually land.
Thanks to everyone testing the demo and reporting things in Discord - the fix list came straight from you.
