Characters
We started working on the characters. Not going to spoil too much, but I'll say this: you'll be able to change their outfits.
Firefighting
We started working on additional mission types. One of them is forest fire suppression. It's still a prototype, but it's looking really promising.
Inventory
After the playtest it became clear that carrying only one item at a time is not great. So we added a simple inventory system. You can now carry multiple items in your hands. There's also a special slot for special items so they don't take up storage space. Basically, you now have two hands and pockets to carry things around.
Plane upgrades
The base upgrade system for the plane is done. You can now improve your aircraft, buy and install a more powerful engine, increase tank capacity, and more. You'll also need to keep an eye on wear and tear on certain parts and do maintenance on time.
Storage
To keep the hangar from turning into a junkyard, we added shelves and storage. You can put anything you want in there. We tried to make the interaction as simple and intuitive as possible, no extra menus or unnecessary UI elements.
