Devlog #2: Co-op, Arcade Controls, Cockpit View, and Progression

Last month we shared the playtest results and laid out the plan. This month we actually did the things. Here's where we're at.

Co-op is real

Multiplayer has been merged into the main branch. Every system we build from now on is network-aware. This is a big milestone for us. We'll be sharing more on how co-op works soon.

The characters are placeholder capsules for now, but there's something about them, right?

Flight updates

We added arcade controls with mouse. The idea is simple: you fly where you look. This should make it way easier for players without flight sim experience to get into the game. On top of that, flight physics got a major update across the board.

Also, you can now fly from the cockpit in first person.

Progression system

The game now has actual progression. You can upgrade and improve the fuel station and mixing station. First elements of automation are in. This is just the beginning, but it already changes how the game feels.

We're also prototyping plane upgrades, still rough but moving forward.

Other stuff

  • Plane model is getting an update, work in progress

  • Actively discussing character designs for co-op mode

Lots of things cooking at the same time. Next month should be interesting.

Thanks for sticking with us 💛

From time to…Community7 Aug 2026Devlog #3: Characters, Firefighting, Plane Upgrades, and StorageCharacters We started working on the characters. Not going to spoil too much, but I'll say this: you'll be able to change their outfits. Firefighting We started working on additional mission types. One of them is forest fire suppression. It's still a prototype, but it's looking really promising. Inventory After the playtest it became clear that carrying only one item at a time is not great. So…Community29 Jul 2026Harvest Skies X HypeTrain DigitalHey everyone! 💛 We've been keeping this one quiet for a few months, but we can finally share it: Harvest Skies officially has a publisher ! 🎉 We're partnering with HypeTrain Digita l. They've published some great titles like Stoneshard, Breathedge, and Voidtrain, and we're really happy with how it's shaping up. What does this mean for the game and for you? With this support, we can actually b…
