Enemies
- Normal walking is sneaking now; sprinting is what gives you away — both footstep radius and the vision cone scale off it
- Lose their sightline and they search instead of b-lining: they go to where you were last seen, look around for ~6s, and say so out loud
- Factions fight each other, and a raider whose nerve breaks will flee
- That "run at you then run away" was morale, not a bug — kept, since you liked it
- Raiders stopped replanning their path every frame on an empty result
The tablet
- Rebuilt as a landscape device, three pages (Carried / Make / Map), reached by icon buttons built into the case rather than text
- Battery on the screen — flashes red when flat, green while charging
- Maps fill the glass, load at full quality on the first press, and no longer re-derive discovered paths every visit
- Map sheet loads on first world load instead of on demand
- Back button; the outside footer and the way-home HUD thought are gone
Steam & Discord
- A shipped desktop build launches through the Steam client
- Discord shows the game as an activity, with days survived and party size, plus the art assets
Bug fixes
- Wall torches blocked movement; also removed the grey bracket from the art
- Chests could be opened through a wall, and trees planted through one from inside — both closed
- Sleeping animals now put their heads on the ground
- Stamina regenerates faster when food and water are fullish
- Dropped items and enemy loot get cleaned up after a set number of days; player-built things never touched
- Footsteps read the replicated sprint flag — teammates were loud on every other screen
- A raider on a spike bed heard its own feet and searched for 6s while being stabbed
- Torch flames were shading themselves — it was the torch's own lamp, not the roof
- Pressing BUILD in the first seconds of opening the pack could hit a rebuild that freed the button mid-press
- The export smoke test was starting Steam on your desktop four times a run — that's the prompt you saw
