Strife of Stars - Demo · published

This patch has been focused on a few things. Adding more win conditions to the game. Adding a new easy mode in an attempt to better onboard new players. Adding more QoL settings such as windowed mode full screen, different resolutions, and as usual, a lot of bug fixing and balancing.
Phasing reworked - exiting phasing now reduces 1 max HP for the rest of combat. Phasing is still strong, but chaining kills on a phased ship is no longer perma-invulnerability.
Armor and movement modifier rework - these items can now be applied to any ship type and propagate fleet-wide (apply a move modifier to a Ptah → all your Ptahs get it). They also stack with themselves, so allows further fleet customization and late-game scaling.
Difficulty selection - new Containment level 0 easy-mode
Settings menu - Fullscreen / Borderless Windowed / Windowed modes, with resolution options when windowed
Sobek: new "Swap" ability - Gave Sobek a new ability to make it more interesting and raise its skill ceiling. Swap: change positions with any pylon on the board.
Ankh of Endless Mornings (Court, mid/late game) - apply to any ship. If it dies in combat, it returns to your inventory on battle win.
Scarab of Endless Advance (Court, mid/late game) - fleet-wide. All player Ptah ships move at zero action cost.
Ankh of Eternal War (Court, mid/late game) - apply to any ship. When that ship gets a kill, all your Court ships gain +1 damage that turn.
Antimatter Munitions Plant (SMI) - as long as it's in your inventory, all Hunters get +1 antimatter missile capacity and refill 1 missile each sector. Stackable.
Ptah now costs 0 fleet capacity (still 1 deploy capacity) - keep them as cannon fodder, pairs with Scarab of Endless Advance
Overclock no longer increases movement
Containment level display order tidied
