Void Cargo: Equilibrium · published · build 25139780

Build a lasting regional project, bring an Equilibrium Array online, and take the controls with a joystick or HOTAS setup. This update also moves map travel to Array pads and makes delivery routes easier to read and plan.
Existing save files remain compatible with this update. Your career keeps its progress, and Array construction begins as a new project in each region.
You can pause work on the Array anytime or combine it with other cargo hauling to make enough money to finish this big project.
Each region now has an Array site. Haul Regional Works shipments from local suppliers with new sections appearing as you deliver materials.
Choose an Axial Spire, Tripod Crown, or Split Mast per Array site.
A commissioned Array reduces Stability decay in its region by 30% and produces periodic premium heavy freight for local delivery.
You can no longer change maps or regions on any base but instead you must be at the Array pod. The Array Megastructure does not have to be built. I understand this is now a bit more involved then before but it greatly adds to the feeling of this being a real world - tell me what you think.
Regional transport replaces the Maps tab at ordinary bases. Fly to an Array pad and open its terminal to unlock regions or book a transfer.
Transport works even before an Array is finished and places your ship on the destination region's Array pad.
I think this is a good start and flying feels great with HOTAS. If you have any suggestions for what's missing for even better Joystick/HOTAS support write a comment or post in the forum.
A dedicated Joystick / HOTAS settings tab lets you assign stick and throttle devices, bind buttons, axes, and POV controls, and adjust axis inversion and deadzones.
Import and export HOTAS setups.
Choose Fullscreen or Windowed in the desktop game's graphics options.
Hover or focus a base on the map, or move the gamepad map cursor to it, to preview its outbound delivery directions.
A clearer ship marker on the map makes heading easier to read, and cargo cards no longer overlap their text.
Improved environment lighting keeps metallic structures from appearing excessively dark.
Safe flying.
